We source as many local ingredients as possible to ensure we are sustainable and authentic. Whether you want breakfast, lunch or a classic afternoon tea, you can enjoy them inside our lovely, cosy café, or head outside and eat al fresco on our stunning sunny terrace or under our glazed pergola.
Open Monday to Sunday, 9.30am to 4.30pm
Breakfast is served from 9:30am – 11:15am
Lunch is served from 12pm – 3pm

Lunch
Our seasonal menu brings the best the local area has to offer; From Estate-reared lamb, fresh artisan breads and locally-caught fish to tasty toasties and tempting puddings. Plus there are options for little ones too.
Afternoon Tea
Enjoy freshly baked homemade scones served with rich Dorset clotted cream and our own Symondsbury jam, alongside a selection of finger sandwiches and an assortment of cakes. Served with your choice of leaf tea or freshly brewed coffee, it’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon with friends, family, or someone special.

Please note, bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance. We’re unable to accept same-day reservations but we do usually have tables available for walk-ins. Thank you for your understanding.
For Afternoon Tea we’re unable to accept walk-ins and ask for a £10 deposit.
